Steven Camp joined the L.E.A.P.S. and Beyond, Inc. team in 2014 as Board Certified Behavior Analyst, who has a vast variety of professional experience with individuals diagnosed with autism, since 2004. Steven began his career as an Intensive Behavior Interventionist, where he learned how to execute Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) interventions, Discrete Trail Teaching (DTT), Naturalist and Incidental Teaching approaches, Picture Exchange Communication Systems, TEACCH, in addition to various ecological, antecedent and consequence positive behavioral strategies.

While completing his graduate degree in Special Education, Steven, supervised the implementation of Early Intervention and Intensive Behavior Intervention programs for individuals on the spectrum ranging from age two to twenty-seven years of age. As a program supervisor, Steven has experience conducting functional behavior assessments, developing individualized intervention plans for behavior reduction, and skill deficit teaching procedures. He is certified in Crisis Prevention Intervention and is an instructor for Professional Crisis Management.

Ashley Ruggles joined theL.E.A.P.S. and Beyond, Inc. team in 2014 as Board Certified Behavior Analyst. She has been providing ABA therapy to children, adolescents, and young adults with special needs for 4 years. She has worked with children as young as 2 years old and adults up to 23 years of age with a wide range of diagnoses and difficulties. She received a B.S. in Psychology and a B.A. in French studies from Western Washington University, and proceeded to receive her Master’s of Science in Experimental Psychology from Western Washington University with an emphasis on statistical analyses. Her thesis focused on emotion processing in children with high-functioning autism. Ashley then went on to receive training and undergo coursework through Florida Institute of Technology in the area of Applied Behavior Analysis to obtain a Board Certified Behavior Analyst certificate. She then received her BCBA certification in February of 2014 and continues to work as a behavior analyst with families in home, the community, and in schools.
