The role of a disability counselor is to ensure that individuals are being properly transitioned into the areas they will like to pursue in their lives. This includes providing programs and services that will help benefit participants in their life’s journey. Also for the younger generation with disabilities, a disability counselor will help families cope with the hardship and emotion that comes along with this type of lifestyle.
